ABOUT RHS INC.

In 2004 Resilience Human Services started as a non-profit program called Absolute Success Inc, a program to better the lives of children, families, men, and women of all backgrounds by providing high quality training seminars focused on life skills, career enhancement and in-depth mental health counseling services while helping to connect individuals to their unique purpose in life.

In 2007 Nailah Cook made this vision a reality by offering FREE and low-cost life skills and career seminars in the community of Roanoke, Virginia. As a social worker working with disenfranchised individuals and families Nailah realized a need that was missing in so many people’s lives. The need was practical, biblical, education, training, and knowledge needed to succeed in everyday life. In later years as Nailah gained professional experience as a manager, director, and mental health clinician she realized a different and often times more pressing need around Mental Health and Human Services which was the high turnover and burnout rate of mental health professionals. Nailah concluded in her experience and research that the primary reason for burnout in these professionals was lack of support and motivational training opportunities to help encourage these workers in the field.
